Round 1

Godoy floats a high jab. Crespo tries to dart in and plant his own jab to the body before fading back out. Godoy follows through with a 1-2, barking every time he throws. Crespo darts in with a low jab and gets pushed out with a right hand to the head. More pecking jabs to the body by Crespo. Godoy pounds him to the ropes with a flurry, mostly blocked but connecting with a hook over the gloves.

Round 2

Godoy claps down on the back of Crespo's head with a jab and limp overhand right as Crespo ducks in low. More shots dropped down by Godoy as Crespo comes in chiseling at the body with his jab. Hook thrown overhead by Crespo coming up for air. Godoy catches him with a jab. Crespo sent staggering back across the ring by a right hand lead! Bouncing off the ropes and back into Godoy, leaning into a clinch. Break. Godoy flurries, a bit sloppy, another clinch. Right hand by Godoy misses but backs Crespo up. Crespo keeps darting in trying to land jabs but getting cowed back by Godoy's breathy flurries.
