ESPN2 FNF: Rustam Nagaev vs. Denis Shafikov RBR

Shafikov is picking off earnest lead rights on his left palm, facing the catcher's mitt out and moving it forward a few inches just enough to intercept when Nagaev fires. Nagaev is throwing his lead rights hard and straight, but in predictable motions which Shafikov has well scouted. Counter shots by Shafikov as he successfully blocks and turns Nagaev. Constant forward motion by Nagaev, trying straights now diagonally plunged into the waistband of Shafikov. Quick evasive steps by Shafikov, countering with right and left hooks on the head and straight thudding body shot combos. Nagaev is plugged in the belly with a sharp right jab and left cross while reaching in with a lead right as Shafikov ducks it and surges in.

Nagaev still wants to continue, bless him. The ref and his corner disagree. Manager agrees.

Round 9

Shafikov is plugging in the straight left on the stomach and pairing it with a hammering right hook on the ribs. Nagaev is walking forward, eating punches, trying to get his 1-2 going. Huge body shots by Shafikov. 1-2 on the face, big right hook on the ribs by Shafikov, hurting Nagaev and forcing him to retreat a few steps into the ropes. Jack Reiss jumps in before Shafikov can pounce on him.
