    teddy is an idiot.
You move people up slowly so they have the ability to correct their flaws against people who can't derail their career by exploiting it.

On the flipside moving them THIS SLOWLY allows those flaws to fester and aren't corrected as they get away with them. Wilder, after 30 fights, still seems to make a number of mistakes he made on his debut and because he's getting away with them he isn't going to correct them.

If you burn your hand on the stove you don't do it again.

Teddy Atlas scored the second round of Hernandez-Harrison vs Balasi 9-8, when each fighter was knocked down once. But in a 10-point must system, shouldn't he have scored the round 10-9 for whoever he thought won the round? Pretty bizarre.

You can lose too much in the game the way it is to put someone in too stiff too early. Quite frankly I think Wilder is being brought along properly and I like the Scottt step up fight and if they follow that up with a Kevin Johnson, or a Tomas Adamek then contenders I would think they have done right by him.

Dusty Hernandez Harrison vs. Michael Balasi, 8 rounds @ welterweight

Amended to a 6-rounder to suit the ESPN2 broadcast schedule.

    Into the fifth and penultimate.

    BIG knockdown by Hernandez Harrison.

Nonstop corkscrew rights by Dusty, going berserk. Too sloppy attempting to finish, Balasi running out the clock and surviving.

Yes. A 9-8 round would only happen with point deductions. (ie, without any knockdowns the normal 10-9 would get dropped to 9-8 if both had points deducted...or if the boxer that scored a knockdown had a point deducted his 10-8 would become 9-8...)

Teddy Atlas has it 48-44 to Hernandez-Harrison.
