    see what I mean. Hernandez needs to use his height. His punches have more power from the outside. it's like Hearns trying to fight in the phonebooth

Luis keeps falling straight in letting his hands go, not moving his head. Big left hook by Hernandez. Luis is stunned but keeps coming. Another big left hook by Hernandez. Luis falls in and taps at Hernandez's hips, then jabs up between his gloves. Hernandez just keeps loading up and slamming him with hooks to the body and head.

    I agree with you. Just thought it was so obvious it didn't need follow up.

    I do the same thing (I'm 6'4" 195) As I get tired, I lose my distance, even on the heavy bag (which is all I do anymore).

    Hernandez is firing away with both hands, long gangly straights. Luis shoots off some line drive counters while backing up. Heavy ram-rod jab by Hernandez gets blocked but sets Luis on his heels. Lots of slaps up and down by Luis. Hernandez takes a half-step to range and lashes Luis with a right hand. Luis is twisting in with light slapping hooks to the waistband from either side, as Hernandez looks to draw the bowstring and tag him with that heavy right again.

    I gave round 7 to Luis. He just did the more consistent work throughout the round, and didn't get hit with that much.

    Hypothetical. You are a trainer and do not know the records of Luis and Hernandez.

    Wouldn't you look at Hernandez as the guy with much more potential?

    He has good length, a nice mentality, and the ability to fill out his frame. Some spacing, footwork, and stamina and he could be good.
