    Round 7

Kennedy is drilling the straight right lead, landing well. Martin is backing up, setting his feet and then leaning in to trade body shots. Kennedy is doubling his jab up coming forward and clapping Martin on the chest when he turns aside to try and slip punches. Kennedy jabs from outside, aiming at Martin's face and finding it even as the target moves and gets obstructed by two gloves. Kennedy ducks a wild hook. Loud jab to the guard by Kennedy. He climbs up the body to the head with a hooking combo. Nady warns Kennedy for a perceived low blow and says one more will be a point taken. Jabs to the sternum by Kennedy. Martin feints with a jab coming forward and then opens up with a big combo. Kennedy goes down by the ropes!! Slip!! Not a KD! Their feet got snagged together and Martin swung an elbow into Kennedy's head with his follow-through from a hook.

    10-9 Kennedy

    67-66 Kennedy

    68-65

Gotta see the replay on the KD, thought he landed a good right hand.

But if it's not called I think Kennedy won that round.

    Edit: K fair call.

    Round 7 Kennedy 10-9
Martin tries to pull a SRL and steal the round with flurries in the last ten seconds. Martin just isn't throwing enough shots for my taste.
    68-65 Kennedy

I thought that was a KD. If not then it is a clear Kennedy round. 69-64 Kennedy

    Round 8

Good right hands by Kennedy. Martin is leading with his own right hand from at his hip, and Kennedy is countering him. Several uppercuts by Kennedy, leaned up against Martin. Numerous uppercuts landing. All soft, pit-pat. Martin dances outside and ducks a right hand, landing a left hook as he comes up. Martin is walked into a corner and is again able to land a counter in between ducking and shoving Kennedy back. Good body hook by Kennedy, and now one by Martin. Kennedy is throwing punches coming forward, but looking tired. Martin is sliding back and throwing longer shots. Kennedy tries to find him with the right and grazes his face as Martin turns his shoulders in to roll out of the way.

    77-75 Kennedy
