Williams throws a counter right upper-hook but doesn't step in first, not covering the gap and throwing from a high tight guard so running out of extension room quickly. Campillo is stalking and twisting his body around, left glove tucked up by his chin as Williams pokes right jabs on the body while dipping and arcing in hemispherical patterns around Campillo before abruptly changing directions. Williams is cut from a right jab.

Campillo is standing firm and arm-blocking as Williams hurls up left hands at the head and digs right hooks on the body. Williams is throwing with all upper body, not generating his power from his legs, keeping them fixed as he jogs around Campillo. Williams is bothered by the cut, throwing short hooks leaning in and pushing off to circle away behind a turtle shell. Williams ducks and rolls as Campillo reaches with a long right jab. Campillo leads with a left uppercut and skims a right hook off the top of his head.
