Damn. I was dropping in to tell you that it's not too late to change your pick on this one IB, but I guess it is. I'm about ten minutes behind on the DVR (I call it, my patented "commercial buffer stuffer", **** commercials). Oh well.

    Round 3

Estrada circles, a bit sloppily, crossing his feet over awkwardly as he pops hard right jabs. Hendrix tries to spin and time him with his own sharper jab, but is looking very jumpy and flinching when Estrada gets close. Clinch. Body shot by Estrada. OOH, giant left uppercut by Estrada just falls a bit short of ripping Hendrix's nose off. Estrada is diving in with left uppercuts to set up his clubbing "combos". Estrada hurls three bales of hay slowly at Hendrix but keeps him covered up, and tying up on the inside. Hendrix is getting whacked with overhand lefts to the side/back of the head in the clinches. Estrada is putting a beating on him, despite landing at a very low percentage. Hendrix is getting nothing off.

    29-28 Estrada

    Round 4

Estrada circles a bit quicker and more smoothly now, still popping jabs and looking to set up his rushes full of left uppercuts and clubbing overhand shots. Hendrix is trying to spring forward, stretching his upper body from above the waist behind his jab to put more snap into it...and occasionally leaping forward with lead right hooks as he turns to keep up with Estrada. Exchange as they spin, and Hendrix gets the better of it. Estrada lands a jab but has his next two missed, as well as a slow left hand as Hendrix tilts his head side to side. 1-2 to the body by Estrada hits elbow. Hendrix is dancing around and getting into a rhythm, but not attacking or countering much. Estrada throws a wide sloppy 1-2 and Hendrix pops him.

    Round 5

Hendrix is getting much sharper, slinging hard right jabs flying straight and true with quick left crosses piggybacking right in behind them. Estrada caught BIG with a right hook. Estrada recovers well and keeps circling around, popping high jabs into the guard and low jabs into the elbows. Hendrix hasn't thrown any punches since that initial burst, just focusing on defense. Estrada throws a hard but slow 1-2, blocked. Wild left uppercut catches Hendrix in the kidney area as he turns, and a follow-up right misses and nearly spins Estrada around. Hendrix lands a short counter. Hendrix doubles the right jab and comes up short with a left cross as Estrada leans away. Estrada lands a big overhand shot that pushes Hendrix down a little as he's bending over to slip, dipping his knees slightly...but Hendrix seems OK.

    Round 6

Hendrix is throwing more jabs, doubling them but getting hit with Estrada's singles as he comes forward. Hendrix slows his roll and rations out his jabs in more measured fashion. They clinch as Estrada dives in. High jabs by Hendrix. Estrada nails him with a left hand over a jab, but Hendrix takes it well. While they're inside Hendrix lands a hard right hook to the cheekbone of Estrada. Hendrix creeps along after him, trying to draw him into countering opportunities...sort of half-assed pressuring Estrada. Brief flurry from Estrada into a clinch. Hendrix is throwing lead lefts, with Estrada ducking and grabbing. Double jab to the throat by Hendrix. Hard jab to the nose by Hendrix. Double jab to the face. Estrada is missing his own jabs now. Wild left uppercut attempts by Estrada.

    58-56 Hendrix

    Round 7

Hendrix is using the right jab to set up and throwing hard lefts from the back pocket that doesn't exist on his shiny silver trunks. Estrada is circling left now, contrary to his earlier pattern. Estrada is diving in and tying up, landing some uppercuts and backpedaling quickly outside. Hendrix is just trying to time him with one of those big lefts behind a jab but isn't letting his hands go enough to catch Estrada on the way in or out. Estrada is grazed by a 1-2 across his temples as he dives in to dig a hard left to the body.

    10-9 Estrada

    67-66 Hendrix

    Round 8

Hendrix doubles his jab, over-extending as Estrada shuffles backward to get away. Estrada tries to reach low with a right hook as Hendrix bends forward to drop a 1-2 to the body. Double jab to the moving head of Estrada as he circles. Estrada is keeping himself leaned back and coming back in a slingshot motion with wild lefts and rights. Hendrix is caught with a couple. Estrada then goes back into circling mode on the outside, with Hendrix ducking forward and catching him with body shots. Estrada is staying outside, with his body leaned back and his chin tucked. Hendrix can't find him clean so just reaches out and trickles the jab up into the general area of his chest and neck. Estrada circles and avoids contact but isn't throwing anything of his own, as Hendrix is afraid to take a risk and close the gap.

Eight round kind of sucked. :yep

Draw for me (although that last round is as "swing" as it gets...nudging it in Hendrix's favor would give him the win on my card 78-76)
