Round 1

Torres paws with his left jab. Jhonson is throwing low right hooks to the hip and lands a good left hand to the body. The much taller Jhonson stays outside, coiled up in a protective stance with his fists hovering at the ready. Wild exchange, with Jhonson laying a left hand across Torres' armpit as the latter flashes his arms out blindly and misses wide. Torres is coming forward shelled up tight and getting slapped side to side, Jhonson palming him with lefts and rights from around the sides.

Round 2

Torres throws a wide left hook behind a telegraphed right hand. Jhonson is sliding in and out with his lead foot and popping right jabs. Jhonson is hanging back and waiting for Torres to act. Torres actually connects with one of his announced-by-loudspeaker right hands as Jhonson's hands open up lazily slow with a counter combo. Hard exchanges now as Torres is beelining toward Jhonson with his guard tight, absorbing the slapping counters and right hooks around the gloves in order to get close and bang. Torres grazes Jhonson with his baseball pitch rights and lands a few body shots.

Closer round, actually.

Round 3

Jhonson waves his right hand in the air, lulling Torres. Jhonson moves in and blasts him with four short punches to the chin, doing surgical work from mid-range as he backs Torres into the ropes without ever getting close enough to grab (or get caught blind with one of those looping rights). HARD left hand lead to the face by Jhonson! Another! Wow, Torres has cheen. Jhonson is in a groove now. Jhonson dances around and taps his chest. Lots of slick movement around the ring by Jhonson, and he lands another thudding lead left to the face. Torres lunges with rights to the body but can't come anywhere near Jhonson. Very slick defensive work by Jhonson hopping around the ring and keeping his head zigging and zagging off the line of fire. Low output by Jhonson but he's boxing beautifully. Torres just stands there with his turtle shell up. Wild right hand by Torres misses and jerks him nearly into a faceplant.
