    Round 7

Raheem is jabbing from safety. Jargal is marching in, flinching at the last moment before getting fully inside and hesitating with his guard up. Raheem is jumping in with right hands and curling his left arm around the back of Jargal's neck, holding. The ref warns him. Raheem keeps diving in low and holding anyway. Raheem is plugging in right hands on the belly as Jargal reaches out with both arms to push him into the ropes and presumably open up on him. Raheem clinches and ducks away before the ref can intervene.

    10-9 Raheem

    70-63 Raheem

Jargal did his best work in the 7th and I thought he took the stanza. 69-64 Raheem

It was definitely Zahir's worst, and for me was the least pleasant viewing of the night so far.

Teddy Atlas has it 69-64 to Raheem, giving Jargal the seventh like Drew.

Dominic Wade is suppose to fight this month. I'd like to see him and figure out if still a good prospect or going the Shawn Estrada way. Has he retired already, Estrada ?

    Round 8

Raheem is sitting low and waiting for Jargal, then bouncing upward and stuffing right hand counters into his face as Jargal hacks at him up close. Raheem puts in left hooks behind the up-shot right and then grabs Jargal around the waist until ordered to let go. Constant holding by Raheem. The ref warns Raheem for rabbit punches. Raheem is ducking back, jumping up with right hands on the face of Jargal, following with left hooks while descending and then grabbing Jargal around the waist.

    10-9 Raheem

    80-72 Raheem

Another Jargal round. This is 10x better than I expected it to be, due to Raheem's slick boxing in the first half and Jargal's aggression and pressure in the last couple of stanzas.

    78-74 Raheem.

Looking forward to this main event now...never seen either of them, have no idea of their styles or calibre, but I've read the previews and hope it's a solid contest.

    Round 9

Raheem tackles Jargal to start. Jargal scrapes himself off the canvas. Time in. Lead right on the button by Raheem as he slips in past a jab by Jargal with his body twisting and lunging in diagonally. Raheem is jerking back to slip the jab and popping light 1-2s on the body. Jargal is caught in a headlock as he comes in low going for body shots. Raheem is backed up by a stiff jab from Jargal stepping in. Raheem fades to his left while flipping up his own jab as he moves with a short acknowledging nod. Jargal starts coming forward but halts when Raheem throws an overhand right feint. Single jab by Raheem. Jargal presses in and Raheem jumps in to press his chest against his, spinning him onto the ropes. Raheem triples a left hook downstairs while hopping around Jargal. Double jab high and low by Jargal, failing to reach. Long counter left hook grazing the temple by Raheem. Another jab downstairs pumped into the air by Jargal.

    10-9 Raheem

    90-81 Raheem

Would have been interesting if Raheem had had a point taken for the holding, would have made round 10 important...

Atlas has it 87-84 to Raheem, with Jargal sweeping three in a row.
