On the judges scorecards it was, of course if you hit as hard as Arreola I suppose the fight is up for grabs until the final bell.

I just wish his desire to be a successful heavyweight was greater than his desire for food.

Quezada workign the jab, covering up ok but he isnt coming forward like he claimed. CA started landing the 1-2, but man he is starting to club his shots, def landed the better shots tho. fairly slow 1st rd.
    10-9 CA
but not impressive and defense looked bad

    Round 1

Quezada with body jabs, and Arreola flashing his own jab to try and set up a windmilling overhand right. Quezada outjabbing Arreola but catches a few stray right hands on the neck and side of the head. Quezada has head movement but it's slow, just barely fast enough to slip much of the telegraphed power of Arreola. Quezada commits to the body jab and Arreola is simply launching shots over Quezada's back as the smaller man ducks in, rather than bring an uppercut underneath. Quezada is backed into the ropes and defends with his hands, eventually jabbing his way back to the middle of the ring. Arreola chops a right hand home right before the bell.

Oh Oh cue the excuses for Arreola's loss to Adamek. Tassitore says "we KNOW Arreola slacked off in camp for that fight and he's in better condition now" (even though he weighs more now than he did then) because Arreola and Arreola's fat ass trainer said so, after the loss. Why can't these commentators be critical and call a spade a spade? :patsch

I worked in some of those fields. Made it from there to living in Huntington Beach. Not bad, huh?
