Not getting the stoppage, but he ought to get the shutout ...unless something incredibly screwy happens. If the judges bail out Chimpa this will officially be the worst robbery I've seen this millennium.

That was either the worst I've ever seen an 18-1 (15) A-side look or the best I've ever seen a 21-9 (6) B-side look...or both.

Also the DJ @ the Fantasy Springs Casino is doing a bang-up job tonight... played "Walk" by Pantera in between rounds at one point. Actually no, didn't just play it...blasted it. The commentator even made a point to mention the volume increase with a little chuckle.

    "...he beat Cristian Mijares..."

No, he was given a gift decision over him, Beto. Do your homework. Nobody that watched that fight believes Terrazas won it.

Jo-Jo still calling out Gary Russell, Jr. Been digging up that bone for a while now.

Let's see how you do tonight, kid. You're still a ways off from proving yourself in that company.

Oscar joining on commentary for the main event. Bernard getting real quiet - not enough air left at the broadcast table for both of their supersized egos.

    Round 1

Díaz is working the southpaw jab and melting off the center line to avoid Terrazas' slower left jab. Díaz puts in the 1-2, reaching thoughtfully past Terrazas' guard, barely exiting second gear and tagging him up easily. Scooping body shot and Terrazas is down!! He gets up but looked pained. They step together and exchange blows, Terrazas slamming the right hand up top wildly and Díaz stuffing it on his left palm and countering with crisp accurate right jabs, then plants another underhanded body shot with the left and drops Terrazas again.

    10-7 Díaz
