No matter how impressive his showing against Duno, his anti-Maravilla gaybashing/Cotto:bananaride, is an unforgivable sin to me.:ohno I give no quarter.:fusmile

    Round 9

González is circling away, leaving a wide gap, in a sidelong crab stance, quickly shimmying in and out with jabs flung side-out from the chest, doubling them up while scissoring his legs to create more room and finding a home for the left cross. Duno is caught by several jabs on the face while hopping inside, and is even backed into the ropes a few times by straight lefts plugged into the belly. Duno is brushing the hairline with his jab falling in and pushing down on González, trying to find an uppercut inside.

    10-9 González, close

    87-84 Duno

I bet Romero wishes he was rematching Chimpa, instead of fighting this particular Gonzalez

    Round 10

González is circling away, not jabbing much, just feinting, sometimes turning his near hip over to pretend he's about to start a hooking motion, attempting to get a rise and force a premature reaction from Duno so he can punish him in a bad position. Duno is cautious, smelling a trap. Very tactical round, both circling, feinting, neither walking into each other's ambushes. Subtle adjustments being made in terms of footwork. Uneventful round until a GIANT UPPERCUT BY DUNO from outta nowhere at mid-range with three-quarters of a minute left! González is rocked, has to hold on for a bit. Duno is walking him down, shifting his body weight forward threateningly. Duno feints a jab off the hip. González counters with a left hand.

    10-9 Duno

    97-93 Duno

That panel of judges did a good job twice in a row (co-main & main event).

Get all three of them working more cards, please.

One of those fights that was relatively close inside the ropes but a clear win on points for the victor.

Mancini possibly the only guy on the planet that can play the "15 round era vs. 12 round era, blah-blah..." card and not instantly be told he needs to STFU?
