Round 1

Khositashvili is feeding the left jab past Valdez's right. The southpaw, wearing a jiggly spare tire, having a hard time matching the unbeaten Georgian's speed. Lead right uppercuts downstairs by Khositashvili. Valdez is trotting left and then leaping inside behind a double jab or southpaw 1-2. Khositashvili is reaching past the Valdez jab, scoring with the left as if threading a needle. Leaping combination by Valdez but he takes a counter uppercut on the ribs and is dropped. Valdez is chased into the ropes, Khositashvili stunning him with a jab and then cracking him upside the head with a right hand as he ducks.

Round 2

Khositashvili puts out the left jab and Valdez shoots into the glove with his right, attempting to dissolve it. Khositashvili presses in, scores a 1-2, and keeps piling on the right hands drilling Valdez into the ropes until he sinks to a knee. Jerry Cantu waves it off without even giving him a count.
