Yup, they said that Cotto would bring a lot of latin fans and should be fighting PBF.

I agree. I wish Floyd would kick his ass now too but he will later when the fight is even bigger.

Exactly! Cotto's last fight against Gomez was the lowest rated in HBO history. What people need to realize is outside of Puerto Rico, New York and places like ESB Cotto is a virtual unknown. He doesn't have the huge base like people here think he does.

I'm really hoping this fight bombs in the PPV numbers, teaching them both a lesson.

I mean the truth of it is, this rant by those two may have just played directly into Oscar/PBF's hands. Now on NationWide TV all of America just saw that and is probably now thinking, "yeah, I wanna see PBF vs. Cotto!", when 20 mins. ago they may not have given a ****. Now when it comes off, it will be even bigger.

Floyd said he would fight Cotto after he built his name up so the fight would make more money. With that said team Cotto still never attempted to make an offer to PBF.

It won't bomb it won't match the last fight but it still will do a million buys easily.

Do you blame him though?? Really? I mean we want the fight, but as a business man PBF is wanting to make the most money he can, while he can. As long as the fight comes off, I won't hold nothing against him.

Well, **** it, I can't say I'd blame him any way. I do want to see it, but Got Dayum, he's won 6 titles in 5 weight divisions= He really doesn't owe us ****.:rofl

So would you say Floyd ducked Margarito in 2006, when at the time a career high payday was offered to him?

I think the main reason he turned down that deal was he just didn't want to work with Arum, because he couldn't get him enough money on his future fights. Plus Arum wouldn't work with Don King or GBP back then, which held back fights.
