Starting last year but even more so this year, Williams' resume has begun to look impressive - but he just doesn't, ever. Going by the eye test, he never become a champ...or if he does, it will be a vacant/interim belt against some weak foe and he'll never successfully defend it from any real contender.

Agreed, just cannon fodder here...for a guy he probably would've beaten up 5-6 years ago.

I hate seeing guys like him, because no body is teaching them right. It's obvious he's big, strong, and athletic. He's gotta pretty legit power, not elite power, but he's got pop. He just has so many flaws in his fundamentals.

He needs to learn defense and not just offense. Because he's gonna get in the ring with a guy with skills who's not overweight, shot, and is just as hungry.. and he's gonna be laid out.

You see so many of these offensive minded guys through the years who find a guy who can hang and fight back and it always ends badly...

Ornelas was a big underdog - people still thought of him as the lesser brother, since Andrade was still being hyped as "hardest chin p4p" in those days - but even Hopkins was surprised with how game Ornelas was. It was a clear victory for B-Hop, although nothing close to a schooling.

To be honest, the division right now is in transition, and admittedly pretty damned weak. I wouldn't be all that surprised if he grabs a vacant belt at some point... and the top guy in the division is very flawed himself (Stevenson).

He's Andrades bro? Did not know that. Oh yea Ornelas definitely was the better boxer, tho Andrade had a helluva chin.

I wouldn't be surprised if Martinez pulls the upset tonight. Lopez looked shot in his last fight.
