"Medina is looking to spring the upset here..."

"A lot of people thought Gonzalez would have it his way tonight..."

WTF is Atlas talking about? :blood

Gonzalez is about the shittiest unbeaten prospect to have reached his mark and had a few TV dates, if not in all boxing, then certainly from Puerto Rico. This guy needed a gift draw over shot, blown-up, ruined Dzinziruk and looked even shittier against Pooh Ennis.

In the meantime Porky Medina has given much better guys than Gonzalez a very hard night's work.

    Round 2

Medina is stuffing the jab of Gonzalez, shooting his own with a deflecting incline, wiping it from the air. Hooks by Medina while turning Gonzalez at mid-range, lefts into the face and rights curled in above the kidneys. Gonzalez is unable to get set and launch his power flurries, landing one and done before Medina starts moving and countering in quick bursts.

    10-9 Medina

    20-18 Medina

    Round 3

Medina is moving in close, landing 1-2s on the body and swaying back as Gonzalez pumps in hard lead rights downstairs, some caught on Medina's elbows. Jabs up top by Gonzalez, mostly sidestepped. Left hook lunging up from a crouch by Gonzalez, nicking a piece of Medina's cheek but opening him up to a straight counter flurry, making him bend over, down & away.

    10-9 Medina

    30-27 Medina

    Round 4

Medina is leaning in, resting his forehead on Gonzalez's shoulder after slicing in sidearm body chops. Gonzalez is pressing forward, pumping a high slow jab and tickling Medina's brow with it. They lean together and trade wide low-velocity slashes and uppercuts on the body, Medina still busier although his output is dimming and he is spending more time on the backfoot.

    10-9 Medina

    40-36 Medina

3-0 might be the tipping point for Medina, based on the way round four went.
