ESPN2 TNF: Fredrick Lawson vs. Breidis Prescott RBR

Round 1

Prescott is jabbing at long range and throwing wide lead hooks as Lawson jumps at him from a tight compact guard with leaping jabs. 1-2 by Lawson, counter overhand right and left hook by Prescott. Good exchange, center ring. Prescott moves Lawson into the ropes. Lawson catches an overhand right on his raised left arm and drops in his own. Lawson backs Prescott up with stiff 1-2s. Prescott strapped on the jaw with a right hand. Prescott extends a long jab and Lawson steps through it, landing his in Prescott's teeth forcefully. Prescott is caught again with his mouth open by a jab, wincing. Big 1-2 by Lawson, Prescott turning his back as he lopes away. Prescott composes himself and throws jabs to head and hooks to body at long range, missing. Lawson eases back into the ropes and swings a wide right hand swerving around Prescott. Heavy right by Lawson.

Round 2

Prescott is looping right hands at the head of Lawson and getting clipped as Lawson dips in like a submarine and breaches the surface with a 1-2. Prescott is backed up across the ring but flips Lawson into the ropes and hacks at him with right hands while hooking beneath the elbows with his left. Lawson scrabbles his way out from the corner, throwing high flurries into the eyes of Prescott and opening a cut by the corner of the left one. Prescott, however, is catching Lawson with bombs as he tries to get clear of the corner. Lawson finally emerges as Prescott slows down and gives him some room. Long right hand by Lawson. Prescott circles to his left, swinging his arms by his stomach in a shimmying swagger, popping jabs at long range.
