My philosophy: work out a lot so you can enjoy a treat now and then.

Glad to see you're trying to get healthy. Keep it up. If you don't have a heavy bag and gloves, get them. Not only a great workout, but nice stress relief.

    Round 7

Felix Jr. is moving around, constantly stepping across counter-clockwise and pumping the left jab. Cruz gets through with a glancing hook and gets his attention but Felix Jr. isn't hurt enough to slow down. Lots of jabs by Felix Jr., moving back and then to the left before resuming his rhythmic pattern. A few overhands by Cruz stepping in, clubbing at Felix Jr.'s back as he ducks and pops the body. Felix Jr. is trading in the pocket now, seemingly less and less respectful of Cruz's power. 1-2 on the way in by Felix Jr., and Cruz misses a wild uppercut from his defensive crouch. Wild hook by Cruz misses as Felix Jr. drifts to the ropes. Stiff jab by Felix Jr., backs Cruz up briefly.

    10-9 Felix Jr.

    66-66

Felix has found some openings, Cruz seems to only have one plan.

I think Felix will take this. But it isn't over yet.

    :yep

I was sure this would be "Felix Jr. has legit power and knocks Cruz out with something crazy, or Cruz outboxes him to a UD".

    Yeah, uh, IB DKSAB.

I really want to see the Chavez Jr. fight, but know I'm going to watch all of the Showtime undercards. Hard to justify a PPV buy for just one fight, but that's probably what's going to happen.

    Round 8

Felix Jr. is moving right now, more in a stroll, very relaxed, jabbing. Cruz gets in with a quick left dig to the body but doesn't follow up. Felix Jr. sticks a high jab as Cruz gets one in to the body. All single shots by Cruz, but no longer head hunting and thus improving his accuracy. Looping right over the top by Felix Jr., caught on the glove and neck by Cruz. Jabs to the body by Cruz coming forward and bending in. Cuffing hook to the back of the head by Cruz as Felix Jr. ducks while circling. Cruz marches him down, and Felix Jr. shies away from opening up with his jab.

    10-9 Cruz

    76-75 Cruz

Cruz must not have watched Cotto's earlier fights. Jabbing to the chest would help him find his target, some body shots would keep his target in range. He's letting Felix Jr. dance away with this one.

Edit: Forgot about the 10-8 round. Still think Felix has won most of the later rounds..

The PPV undercard is trash, compared to the free card. :-(

Cruz better have a good excuse for fighting the way he is tonight being the more experienced boxer and all. Had him cornered and let him out.
