    Round 10

Cruz comes in hammering with overhands as Felix backs to the ropes. Felix is able to force some separation by hooking with Cruz in the phonebooth, timing his and landing it flusher and rocking Cruz back. BIG RIGHT HAND BY FELIX, perfectly timed counter as Cruz tried to wind up a slow uppercut and telegraphed it, never even getting a chance to set it loose. Felix hops around, changing directions, jabbing and shouldering his way in for brief clinches until Joe Cortez asks for a break. Felix slaps a hook on the way out after another quick lean-in. Cruz jogs to his left, trying to cut the ring off, hands down at his sides. Flush jab by Felix to the unprotected face. Cruz hammers away at him as Felix ducks and shimmies along the ropes, countering with his chopping right. Cruz takes aim with a few plunging jabs as Felix ducks in front of him, tickling his face. Cruz keeps wailing away but gets parried and blocked.

    10-9 Felix

    95-94 Felix

Cruz might have won one single round in the last half of that fight. Felix Jr. made an adjustment and Cruz just didn't follow with one of his own.

In the old days (pre-internet) this loss would be considered a good experience for a prospect: he faced something new but didn't take a beating.

Facebook polls had it 8-2 to Felix.

Atlas had it 97-93 Felix. (knockdown counteracted by even round)
