ESPN2 TNF: Tyson Cave vs. Óscar Escandón & Austin Trout vs. Luis Grajeda RBR

I don't blame Trout or Cave - they are what they are.

Grajeda is proving every bit as much a disappointment as Escandón, though. Both of them can be explosive, apply pressure, and land difference-making bombs.

...unless you show them even a slight modicum of movement and boxing ability, that is. :blood

 

Round 5

Grajeda is running around Trout on the outside and pawing with left jabs. Trout is waving the right hook, using it for a diversion, looking for lefts downstairs. Body shot by Trout as their feet get tangled. Grajeda down, ruled a knockdown although he protests.

Round 6

Grajeda is getting picked apart with right jabs and then swallowed up as Trout starts to spear in lefts on the body coming in. After the clinches are broken Trout is ducking the jab and peppering the body with uppercuts, head lolling side to side. Grajeda is unable to generate offense inside and doesn't want to even try outside.

Round 7

Grajeda is getting pushed off with lefts on the body. Grajeda is jogging away, carrying his arms low, putting them up when Trout gets close with his jabs and hooks up high, setting up straight and uppercut lefts on the body. Grajeda is moving straight back, folded over by uppercuts on the belly after he shells up to stop jabs.
