    Round 2:

Matirosyan continues to search for the right hand, while Lozano looks for opportunities to counter. About a minute in, Lozano lands a nice right, only to eat a right in return from Vanes a few seconds later. Lozano DOWN on the seat of his pants. Mario gets up and resumes fighting, but takes an uppercut and a nice hook to the body as the round ends.

    20-17 Vanes

    Round 3:

Lozano comes out and plods after his foe, searching for openings with both hands and occasionally dropping a shot in there. Vanes continues to snipe at his foe, landing single shots to control the round, though not really landing clean enough to put Lozano in any real difficulty.

    30-26 Vanes.

Martirosyan is putting a hurting on Lozano. This fight will not last the distance.

    Round 4:

Vanes continues to control with single shots, but starts to get reckless and eats a couple of punches by Lozano in return. Vanes of course, quickly regains control with a sharp right and resumes his work while Lozano continues to search for ways to turn the momentum around.

    40-35 Vanes.

    Round 5:

A more tactical round, with Vanes staying at range, jabbing and dropping the occasional right in there. Mario rolls with the right and tries to jab with Vanes but is still getting outlanded by a pretty fair margin.

    50-44 Vanes

    Round 6:

Vanes continues to box from the outside at the start, working the jab and the one two. Lozano is a pretty tricky mofo and does a good job of rolling with the right hand. Lozano actually lands a nice combo, and then a crisp right hand of his own, but Vanes then resumes control of the fight, even if he can't land much of anything clean in terms of powerpunches.

    60-53 VM.

    Round 7:

Lather, rinse, repeat. Vanes controls the outside with the jab, but occasionally takes too long to reset and allows Lozano the chance to land a reminder right hand before the fight returns to its normal dynamic.

    70-62

    Rounds 8 and 9:

Similar pattern to both rounds, with Lozano having moments early on, and having several moments of success in each stanza. Vanes finishes strong in the last minute of each stanza, probably doing enough to win it on the cards. I'd listen to arguments made by people who gave Lozano the last two, though.

    90-80 Vanes.

    Round 10

Vanes continues to bounce around and jab from the outside, while Lozano continues to roll with the right hands and then try to drop the counter right in. Mario actually lands a couple and doesn't really take anything clean in return, so I'll give him the round just because, and call it 99-89 on my card.

10-9 Lozano in the final stanza.

Vanes was...Vanes. Flashes of brilliance, but too inconsistent to be a serious player at 154 for an extended period of time, imo.
