    Yeah NDam looked pretty decent

Very week performance from Stevens though. He didn't want to throw first, but everytime NDam threw anything it had Stevens resetting and walking around again.

I don't even think he really needed to be that effective with his flurries to "win" the fight. Even if he hit gloves, he just needed to show them. With 4 rounds won, that pretty much means any round he put together a 4 or 5 punch combo, he won.

At the end of the day, they both dropped and beat Stevens. One method of having done so is no more valid than another. :conf

I'm referring to the general audiences of which hardcore fans like us are not a big majority, and I'm pissed off so.....

    Dirrell is just pathetic though

Disappointed with the card tonight. Hopefully Taylor-Soliman is better.

I just didn't see N'Dam land all that much to keep this interesting.. so yeah.. he negated Stevens for the majority of the fight.. he also negated almost everything for most of the fight. I just didn't see him landing all that much... he did enough to win a majority of rounds.. for sure.. but let's no pretend that dude was landing at will.

I gave Stevens about three rounds. Give or take a round. Much of N'Dam's output of jabs, wasn't even landing, he was just more active. Most of the jabs he was throwing were caught on Stevens' gloves, or shorted. Stevens didn't seem to know how to cut the ring off, or work his way in with his jab. When he let his jab go, it was more accurate. He was hitting N'Dam with it, when he threw it. He should have been throwing it much more. N'Dam looked about as I expected. Decent, could still use some work. Stevens disappointed me with his showing.

    Uh, it won't be.

Chief support is Andre Dirrell. Likely to kick off the broadcast is BJ Flores.

    Exactly.

I never overrated Stevens like most everybody else on this forum did. To those people, they thought Golovkins' win was better than it actually was, as they felt Stevens was better than he actually was. This performance, along with all the other biggest fights of his career that they have pretended never happened other than the vicious KO1 to Roman, prove that...

To people like me, I properly rated it the night it happened. Golovkins' stock doesn't drop tonight at all because Stevens was never good enough to make that win anything special to begin with... If Stevens comes back and ever beats a top 10 contender or anything like that, we can revisit Golovkins' win over him and it could increase to some relevance.

    Well, obviously...

But you don't have to pay for it or invest your time in it if you don't want to. So don't watch N'Dam next time. Nobody is making you.

Actually... one method is considerably more valid. GGG will probably bring in considerably more money than N'Dam ever will. N'dam will probably never be headlining a Showtime or HBO card.. GGG will.

How many N'dam threads do we got?

Stevens doesn't know how to cut off the ring worth a ****, if he did he would have stopped Hassan in 5 Stevens power is legit I never said he was a great boxer.

This fact that this fight was boring to some is on Stevens in my opinion. He knew the style he was getting and just walked around taking jabs the entire fight. Any round where he actually semi let them go was entertaining.
