He could of taken more risk and planted himself to exchange inside the pocket but there was no need for the risk.

I also enjoy a nice inside smash EM up fight but other times I also enjoy the fancy footwork of boxing.

It was an okay fight but I still think Curtis lacked aggression and determination :hey

And I will say old dude did dance around more than required but he played it safe....hit and avoid getting hit:good

    Thanks bro

I agree with you on the method they did it being close enough to even (though making him quit is better than the wide UD), but Golovkin gets the clear nod for better victory as he beat him before N'Dam did. Simple as that when all else is relatively even. And Stevens only looked lesser in his one bout in between the two fights being compared (as opposed to looking good and grabbing a meaningful win to elevate himself above where he was going into the Golovkin fight).

Well, Stevens has never known how to cut off the ring.

Anyone acting like they know enough to give an opinion should know that.

His inability to cut off the ring or adjust are more well known and proven time and again than his power at the top level is, that is for sure.

You were just complaining about him being boring and because it's prizefighting and because people are spending their money, he somehow owes it to them to be "exciting."

I said, if you don't find him exciting, don't watch or spend your money on him, which is what you cited as reasons why he somehow owes it to us... N'Dam won't lose any sleep and the MOQ rules aren't changing because of it.

NDam actually addressed his bad habit of stepping forward and throwing weak, which helped a lot. Or at least he was throwing hard enough to get Stevens to shell up and not punch with him. It did look like he was throwing with more authority though when he was in the pocket.

He was moving quicker at separation as well it seemed.

I figured it was more likely he would still throw weak or hang around too long, but he put on a good show so I was wrong about this one. :conf

This was Hassan's gameplan before the fight and he executed it. May not be the most exciting style, but works for him. If not for the knockdowns, he'd easily had beaten Quillin. Now that fight is rematch worthy.

So you think N'Dam's victory over Stevens was just as good as GGG's? Is that what you're saying?
