I can’t stand Ronny’s corner. I remember this being a problem for me in his fight with Vargas as well. But hell who am I to judge

    Round 3

Ríos is committing to his strategy of working the body, pumping in both arms underhanded, scissoring them into Hovhannisyan's sides. Meanwhile a deluge of counters pelts the skull of Ríos as Hovhannisyan dances around him, setting his feet, throwing combos, and then picking up his tent stakes to start over. Ríos becomes hurt with roughly a minute left and Hovhannisyan jumps on him. Ríos taking abuse on the ropes. Doesn't go down but ref having a close look.

    10-9 Hovhannisyan

    30-27 Hovhannisyan

Yeah, the absolute last thing Ronny needed in that moment was to have somebody get in his face screaming at him angrily.

Eh, it has the element of excitement that comes when an underdog becomes unexpectedly dominant but in hindsight if things stay like this and Ríos gets stopped it wasn't ever all that competitive. There were a couple of better fights in Panama City last night.

Azat had him going, and the ref steps in and makes sure the judges see the bump on Ronny heads and takes the time to explain what caused it. Like no **** it's a huge bump on the forehead, of course it came from a clash, quit getting in the way.

    Round 4

Ríos is withstanding more right hand leads and combos from Hovhannisyan, as the latter keeps churning them out tirelessly. A few head clashes, initiated by Ríos attempting to clinch but from which he ends up the most hurt. The ref implores him to stop, and has trouble getting him to pay attention while giving him instructions as Ríos turns his back and walks away. Ríos is acting weird tonight..

If a fight happens in the forest, and no one hears it, has it really happened? :hang
