Round 1

Paclar is jabbing in, very jittery. Mama is calmly moving to his right, waiting on Paclar, tracking his movements and then sticking the jab. Paclar is looking for a home for his right hand, but hasn't found it yet. 1-2-3 by Mama from outside. Right hand downstairs by Paclar, diving in, then rising with a right hand up top, but Mama has used quick feet to get out of the way. Another close call for Paclar swinging up high with a hook after bending forward, Mama up on his toes, arms splayed out to his sides, crowd getting into this, ole! Right hand downstairs by Paclar.

Round 2

Paclar is scooping right hands in at face height, buzzes Mama with one passing through his gloves. Paclar is jabbing high, getting picked off, then swatting with a hook to distract Mama and falling in with a right hand. Mama just a step ahead defensively, for the most part. Mama not getting many shots off, though. Mama flicking a few jabs while circling to his right, none getting close. Paclar starts to fence with Mama, taking chances, probing with the jab, pulling away quickly from Mama's countering jabs and then countering those with his own in recoil. Hook and jab from Mama on the outside, blocked. Right hand on the chest by Paclar on a break.

Round 3

Paclar is following, jabbing to set up, then barreling in with a right hand, just short, Mama sidestepping and countering with a straight combo. Mama scoring well at mid-range. Double jab by Mama. Paclar is jabbing at the chest but getting pinned between the wrists, trapped and then let go as Mama keeps circling rapidly. Clinch as Paclar catches him. Mama is jabbing and moving, and lulling Paclar, until walking him nearly onto an uppercut. Just missed. Paclar is trying to jab his way in, but can't get past Mama's jab. Paclar keeping a high tight guard, watching for openings. Clinch, they break cleanly on their own. Next time, Paclar ends up with his head under Mama's curled arm, but again they extricate themselves without needing the ref. Mama using his right glove to slap down Paclar's jab while lining up his own circling wide.

Hey, you finally made it!


Just in time for the dark horse most competitive & highest combined skill level bout of the whole card, which shockingly enough was cobbled together last minute with the guy currently winning (IMO) brought in on short notice to replace somebody vastly inferior.

 

Round 4

Paclar is using too much unnecessary movement, jerking his upper body side to side instead of efficiently working his way in with body shots as he found success with early. Strictly headhunting, and not always remembering to use the jab. Mama is able to dance around him and sprinkle in pot shots while cutting long swaths by him parallel with the ropes. Not sitting down on his punches, Mama, but making contact with straight & hooking flurries on the way by.
