Sonsona eats a big Maarif counter right uppercut while landing his own right hook and laughs it off.

Sonsona appears to go down, slip/push. Sonsona is cockily taking short hops & slides around Maarif, throwing lead left hands off the hip and putting right upper-hooks together in combination with underhanded lefts on the body or looping shots up top. Maarif getting battered around the ring now, zapped every time he turns around to face Sonsona with pot shot right jabs & hooks.

Sonsona is standing in, bobbing in place, scoring a left hand lead, and then bouncing counterclockwise. Vicious rabbit punch by Sonsona, kind of Maarif's fault as he turned his back partially while skirting the ropes. They scrap their way in close, heads clash, Maarif scores a big uppercut while Sonsona is hurt by the butt - Sonsona down! But not ruled a KD, correct call by the ref as I must begrudgingly admit even though I was all set to gleefully score a 10-8 for Maarif even knowing it was technically from a foul. Alright time in. Sonsona is now playing it safe, still seeing little cartoon stars & birdies from the headbutt/uppercut combo. Pot shot jabs and straight left hand leads by Sonsona from outside, laughing all the while at Maarif being unable to match his reach. A few lazy swatting long right hooks by Sonsona. Maarif just keeps planting his lead foot in between Sonsona's but seems paralyzed when he sets himself to fire, perhaps worried about counters, no matter, time's run out anyway.
