Round 1

Alolod is coming forward boldly, starting off the bat with lead right hooks on the body, doubling up and then chucking a left hand down the pipe as Cuerdo backs up. Cuerdo is getting the measure of his fellow southpaw, feeling him out, countering warily from outside with the jab. Cuerdo sneaks a wide left on the far hip behind a throwaway right jab. Alolod is still dipping forward and RIPPING those right hooks on the body. Hatchet left windmilled by Alolod up high and crashing down to just narrowly miss Cuerdo's face. Cuerdo is dancing around, popping jabs but not reaching with them, and immediately cowing into the ropes. Exchange at the bell.

Round 2

Alolod is bashing repeatedly up top with the left hand and scissoring in the right arm down low on the other side. He is warned for low blows, although to my eyes they appeared right on the belt line. Warned again. Legit body shots IMO. Alolod shrugs it off and keeps attacking. Cuerdo is blocking a lot of Alolod's overhand lefts but can't do anything to stop the right hooks tenderizing his side. Cuffing right hook counter by Cuerdo but it lands awkwardly, his inner arm splashing against the side of Alolod's neck. Ceurdo is countering with his own lefts up top and rights on the body as Alolod presses him against the ropes.

Round 3

Alolod walks onto a big left hand from Cuerdo as they answer the bell. They stand in the phone booth and trade lefts. Cuerdo down, slip. More slugging. Both landing. Alolod's jaw is jacked sharply around by a Cuerdo left. Both making contact more in the form of incidental stiff-arms than punches. They are too close together, neither can fully extend a shot. They separate and both land their lefts. Brawl. Hard body shots from Alolod. Cuerdo turns his back. Alolod chases him into a corner and just dumps leather on him. BIG lefts by Alolod. Cuerdo now has decided he may as well fight back after all. Big lefts by Cuerdo. Still thirty seconds left. Alolod with a left uppercut, then a straight left on the bridge of the nose, making Cuerdo blink. Big looping left by Cuerdo, arm-weary but throwing as hard as he can.
