He will go further than his cousin Dave. Because you can see the skills and slickness. LOL. Dave is very basic to me.

Do wonder how Tapales will fare at Featherweight, we won't really find out here though given that Mrema is a natural Bantamweight...at highest :(

I've seen this kid Goodluck Mrema. This is a mismatch. Mrema has that look in his eye like he is going to get a hiding already.

    Round 1

Tapales is snapping the right jab, following Mrema with carefully placed steps while shaking off the rust and testing out everything in his arsenal, half-feinting a left uppercut downstairs while rushing in, etc. Mrema is keeping a high guard, circling wide, occasionally drawing his left leg in tighter and then lifting it halfway like a stork, kicking it a little to keep the blood flowing I guess, and then planting it back down in a wide stance. Mrema jabbing and putting up the goalposts on the outside. No serious attempts to land. BIG check right hook by Tapalas. Goodnight Goodluck.

    KO1!!

Still find it amazing that Marlon hasn't been decisively beaten in nearly a decade, and taking on a variety of decent to pretty good comp.

What's the thought process behind having a 20 year old Nicaraguan prospect in Melvin Lopez on this card? Is he signing with a Filipino promoter or something?
