espn is a joke... the fact they got wilder in top 10 p4p rankings makes them irrelevant.. Joshua beats klitchko.. and doesn't get top 10.. but the guy who has fought low class fighters for his record gets it lol... and even worse.. one of them have wilder at #4 p4p on there list... smh that person should be fired for such a stupid list.
because he was a dominant champion for a long time... wilder doesn't deserve to be there lol.. he didn't even fight wlad.
seriously you can't even defend wilder here.. look at his list hes fought... there other fighters who deserve the 10th spot way more then him.. santa cruz, usyk, rungvisai , hell even Joshua .
Out of those two, it's totally Wlad who never took risky matchups. Meanwhile, Wilder went through the murderer's row of buffet cooks and patrons. Bomb Squads earned the benefit of the doubt!
Wilder does deserve to be on there in top 10. Yes he hasn't fought the best opposition but he beat a good stiverne who was considered a top 10 fighter at the time (First fight that is, not the nonsense second fight), Molina who is probably top 20-30. He also beat Duhaupas who had beaten Helenius and Charr previous to that. That made duhaupas a top 20 level fighter at the time. And he has a world title. And 39-0. 39-0 is still a good record, no matter who you face. I think that means he deserves to be in the top 10. Maybe not 4th, maybe 6th or 7th. But he is definitely top 10, no matter how badly he is hated.
p4p lists are and always have been promotional tools. Look at the state of youse. ESPN did a fine job promoting Mister Wilder as youse can't get his name off yer fingers.
Wtf does being undefeated have to do with anything? There used to be a saying that a fighter is not ready for a title shot if he hasn't had a loss yet. Just look at Ring Mags top 10 at 140. 7 guys are undefeated... Meaning none of them are fighting each other and that's why its such a dead division. (Two of the three that have a L have Crawford to thank for that)
lol no just no.. you can't have wilder over Joshua smh.. some of his fan boys on here are hilarious. having a good record doesn't make you top 10 p4p... its about names on the list! if we go by your way someone could go 50-0 on c class fighters and they be top 10..
