ESPN P4P Rankings just flat out suck. Where is Mikkel Kessler? He deserves to be on that list than Ivan Calderon. (straweights shouldn't be on the P4P list at all, just a joke division) Oscar De La Hoya at #13? What has he done, they could at least put Vernon Forrest there. My P4P rankings would be something like this

There's always debate but it does seem that less thought goes into the lower half of such rankings. Think p4p i'd take Kessler over Spinks quite easily but he's not even on the list

 

I think having Winky Wright as high as seven is an absolute joke to be honest.

On what grounds does the previous poster put Junior Witter at 14? A good fighter, but not beaten anyone of real note to warrant a place in the top 20 IMO.

Even people like Taylor are ahead of Witter, what's Witter got that compares with wins over Hopkins X 2, a draw with Wright and a win over Spinks?

I may be in the minority but Vasquez and Marquez are too high in my opinion. They provided us with 2 great fights and that's fantastic but not so long ago, Vasquez was given a boxing lesson and beingz outclassed by Jhonny Gonzalez before finding the finishing punches. They are great fighters but too high up on this list.

I think it's unfair to drop Hatton and Taylor based on 1 loss to another P4P boxer. Also Wlad should be higher. He's beaten so many top 10 heavies and if it wasn't for his chin then he would be a heavyweight legend in the making. He's exceptionally talented and deserves to be higher.

I like the look of my list better, pretty much based on how the fighters have performed in the 2 years or so aalongside the resume.
