He beat Clottey after Clottey injured his hand. Clottey was beating the brakes off of him until that point. I doubt he could beat Willimas because he fights dumb I don't think he would figure out his mistakes mainly starting to slow to be able to beat Williams in a rematch. No way in hell does he beat Cotto. Cotto has a good jab and a deadly body attack which would spell doom for Margo's long lean body. Cotto stops Margo late IMO. I would still favor Berto in a matchup against Margo. He has the handspeed and the power to get Margo's respect and give him fits. Quintana would beat Margo just like he beat Williams only worse. Williams has better footwork, handspeed and throws straighter punches than Margo does and that would give Carlos even more of a advantage against Margo. Margo will probably beat Cintron but I never considered him to be elite. Cintron will cry the first time he gets hit and go into a shell and it will be an easy day of work for Margo in the rematch.

I don't want to hear the hand excuse anymore for Clottey. Fighters **** up their hands all the time during a fight and they just don't stop fighting like Clottey did. As far as Williams, Williams won 7-5, that's not that wide of a margin. Considering Williams' poor defense, and suspect chin, I would never put it past him to loose to a guy like Margo.

Margo may be slower than Paul, but he has similar stamina, more power, and a better chin. He also doesn't smother his punches as much as Williams does. Quintana is not a great defensive fighter, I could see Margo possibly getting a stoppage.

As far as Cotto is concerned, I would pick him over Margo, but Margo could certainly beat him. Cotto has a nice jab, but that might not help him all that much against a much longer opponent. Margo is a tough guy to hurt. All he would have to do devise a similar defensive gameplan as Urkal. Urkal was another hardnosed fighter with a steel chin. He simply kept his hands low and was able to walk through Cotto's head shots. He was tagging Cotto in that fight, however the man has Malignaggi like power. Margo can crack, so that wouldn't be a problem for him.

I can't believe I forgot about Kessler. I actually regard him as top 10. He actually gained estimation in my eyes as a result of the Calzaghe loss. He is clearly more talented than any of the guys at 160.

I forgot about Clottey. Well holla at me after Cotto destroys him and that's IF he gets past Cintron. Dude is average at best and gets too much ****ing credit.

What happens if he beats Cintron again and either beats or gives Cotto a competitive fight?

I'll give him his credit then. I'm not the average ESB poster Reg.

He beats Cintron easily but he will be outclassed by Cotto and lose by wide UD or late round TKO. So he's back to where he was before at the bottom half of the 10 at 147.

Number 1, Margo hasn't been at the bottom half of the top 10 in a while. Number 2, there's no way in hell Cotto stops Margo.
