I deleted all lists I have last week. I have none anymore. I just rank fighters as atgs, greats and some as very good.
Chavez qualifies as an atg p4p imo. The only one of the guys you named actually.

For sure he is easily a top 3 atg LH, you can even make a case for number 1. I know your fishing for a debate addie since i know you are a big Spinks fighter. Actually me and you have a lot of the same favorites.

Anyways...... if Spinks isnt an atg what is your definition of an all time great?

I think Top3 at lhw is reaching. Top5, probably. I´d go with Charles, Moore and Tunney as Top3. Foster completes the Top5.

Id go with Charles,Spinks and all those other ones vying for 3. Moore actually has a case for 2 and HTH FOster might do well against Spinks, but SPinks beat a line of quality guys at LH as well as making a good amount of title defenses( are you gonna call him a titilist Bodhi:twisted:) Beating Larry Holmes was awesome, and yes i will put that on his resume as a LH and that could be argued as him even being number 1.:yep

What he means is there are too many names on their that casual fans will recognise, which makes it uncool.

What i meant by it was to dissect it, are you knowledgeable enough to say why there list was wrong? Without disrespecting Duran where would you rank some of these guys and who was misplaced or left out?

    02 - Harry Greb
    03 - Sugar Ray Robinson
    04 - Henry Armstrong
    05 - Ezzard Charles
    06 - Bob Fitzsimmons
    07 - Muhammad Ali
    08 - Willie Pep
    09 - Benny Leonard
    10 - Mickey Walker
    11 - Joe Gans
    12 - Roberto Duran
    13 - Barney Ross
    14 - Archie Moore
    15 - Joe Louis
    16 - Gene Tunney
    17 - Jimmy McLarnin
    18 - Tony Canzoneri

I think Ali and Louis are too far apart, Ali too high. Canzoneri and McLarnin should be above Tunney and Ross and Duran above Gans.
Outside of Ali at 7, I love your Top10 though.

You know what MCGRAIn i consider you one of theeeeee most knowledgeable guys here but having Fitz over ALI is..........:patsch:dead WHy dont you go back to 1940. Do you realize you only have 2 fighters whose primes were in the last 40 years , there has only been a little over 100 years in the history of Queensberry why are diregarding the majority of the fighters in that era ? Your credibility has gone down homeboy:patsch:-(
