Esteban De Jesus 1974 vs Edwin El Chapo Rosario 1986 at 135 lbs. Who wins this battle? Esteban gave Roberto Duran good battles, can he take El Chapo?

I think Esteban wins a UD, but he would have a close fight on his hands, and might have to get up from a couple of knockdowns.

I would also go with this. DeJesus by decision but probably with a few surprises along the way. Possibly both on the canvas during the fight.

I could see that as well, though Edwin had a pretty decent chin most of his career.

Chapo has a puncher's chance, but the most likely outcome is DeJesus taking him apart with counters.

Very good matchup. It really depends on Rosario's motivation level. In 86 he was highly motivated against Camacho and Bramble. This would be for Puerto Rican bragging rights. So I think Rosario would be motivated. Edwin by decision in a good competitive fight.

I would give the edge to DeJesus. It would be very hard for Rosario to replicate what Duran did in applying successful pressure against such a dynamic dangerous fighter. That said ..Rosario gets some licks in.
