Esteban De Jesus v Azumah Nelson

Last recorded time I can find where Esteban made 130 was his 13th fight in a scheduled 8-rounder. He’s nowhere near ready for The Professor at that stage.

At 135, Nelson is over his best weights and, while durable, overmatched physically. He loses a decision handily.

Azumah was better pound for pound but Esteban was the better at 135lbs.

Azumah is the far more proven fighter, more heart and more resiliance. DeJesus has a great win and great skills but I think Azumah has him well and truly beat for intangibles
