nope. if jmm is so great at lightweight, he should've dominated or dismantled guys like casamayor or diaz who are not even near his level.

but almost all of his fights at 135 have been competitive which should not be the case for a top p4p guy.

this just means that jmm is already past his prime weight and is just extending himself. jmm is really a career featherweight who has slowly lost his speed, reflexes and timing going up from 126. he actually hasn't improved since his last fight with pac and imo, has noticably regressed in the past 4 years. probably age and the added weight have finally caught up with him and maybe those 2 fights with pac took a lot out of him.

The likes of Diaz and faded Casamayor are not any better than Lampkin, Ishimatsu, Frazer, Viruet, etc. Forget the trilogy with Duran, he was still the far more impressive Lightweight compared to JMM.

Come on Diaz was a ****ing favorite.. Touted as PACQUIAO killer or whatever and look what MARQUEZ did to him... Damaged him as a fighter and to this day he has not yet recovered he even changed his style of fighting He use to be a boxer puncher How he got his name BABY BULL but after that devastating KO DIAZ was afraid to exchnage and turned into a boxer...

Marquez with one fight destroyed his career, name and reputation, even style of fighting. He went on to lose to MALINAGGI lol
