    Duran's two best LW conquests.

Both were very good boxers, as well as very good bangers. Buchanan was a more textbook boxer, very nimble, very good jab, straight punches, but a lot tougher than he appeared. He could slug it out in the trenches when the situation called for it.

Dejesus was not as much of a textbook boxer, and was shorter by a decent margin, but he was very slick. He was a mixture of a slickster and a banger. Buchanan was more technical, while Dejesus was a bit looser.

But, Buchanan's height, reach, and ability to hang in there in the exchanges would give him the edge in my opinion. Neither fighter is to be underestimated though, as they were great LW's, and could've been greats in other eras.

Pretty good analysis there Pea, can`t add much to it except to say that I think Kenny wins this one on points clearly. DeJesus was indeed a very smooth and fluid boxer with good power but he wasn`t as active as Kenny was, especially with the jab and the Scotsman was also much quicker on his feet than Esteban. This leads me to believe that he would have kept out of harm`s way for most of the fight while keeping that piston jab of his active and racking up the points with it. Also, Esteban did fade late in some of his fights and I can see this happening vs Kenny as the high pace he would set would see him fade down the stretch and lose the last few rounds to his more active foe. Would have been a good fight, but I only see one winner here and it ain`t the Puerto Rican.
