I'm a little sick of all the heavyweight threads floating around so lets consider the dream fight involving two of the most naturally talented fighters from the 130-135 pound region. I personally believe DeJesus was the better and more accomplished fighter but Camacho's style presents some problems that complicate the outcome. Still in a 15 round fight I say DeJesus by a close but clear decison. Prime for prime of course.
DeJesus edges Camacho at 135.In a 15 rounder, mentally, Camacho is going to turn tail at some point, and Esteban takes it in the championship rounds over a wilted Hector.
Dejesus is more technically skilled but a relentless Camacho in his prime was blessed with some insane physical gifts and he used them. Would be a tremendous fight this one.
Being the only guy to actually best Duran at LW, DeJesus is understandibly the favorite here. Then again, Camacho's blazing speed could set the stage for an upset. Too close to call.
