Could Esteban have beaten Livingstone Bramble, or Sean O'Grady?

I just watched Duran - Dejesus II. Dejesus was a badass. I'd give Dejesus a good chance to cut up O'Grady and stop him. Bramble was good but I think Dejesus was a level above. Clear decision for Dejesus but I wouldn't rule out one of those hooks getting through Bramble's guard (like Rosario's right hand).

Could he beat them both...what do you mean, like at once?

DeJesus looked over the hill and spent when he lost to Saul Mamby in 1980... At his best he would beat O'Grady probably on cuts in about 10 rounds and win a UD vs Bramble.

Definitely, first saw Esteban when he beat Duran and this became a trivia for a while. Who was the first to beat Duran? Tragic ending, really a HOF fighter.

I just watched that same fight today and was thinking the same thing about him being a badass. That left hook he caught him with was something vicious.

Dejesus rules the Lightweight division for years and becomes a top 50 ATG in my opinion IF Duran wasn't around. He was a great fighter, Duran was just greater.

I've aways thought DeJesus was a brilliant fighter. An underated boxer, good counter-puncher and had an explosiveness about him which I liked. Besides the 3 Duran fights I saw his 2nd fight with Lampkin and the Cervantes and Yamabe fights. If Duran wasn't around he still would have been up there, but I don't think he would have got past Ken Buchanan or Rodolfo Gonzalez. The lightweights were very thick back then.

BTW, I should have answered the question. Dejesus on points over Bramble and O'Grady.
