If Mayweather vs marquez taught me anything, it's that people will pay to watch floyd wash his balls as long as it's marketed right and has a 24/7 series.

Why doesnt he just fight ricky? A fight with ricky in the uk would be HUGE and i mean Huge it would make a ton of money plus mayweather would be able to get away with it as a semi plausable fight whilst have a very low threat to his 0. even a khan would sell over here

that fight wouldn't even do 100'000 in the uk.

brits are fanatical but they are not ****in daft.

matthew hatton is poor, he has no appeal, has no punch, and doesn't even stand a 1% chance of beatin floyd (even if floyd had one hand tied behind his back).

if this fight got made it would stink out boxing.

if floyd wants to fight in england to exploit our love for boxing and make some money for himself then he should bring someone like mosley over here and give us a proper fight and not some ****** phoney fight like this would be.

It wouldn't be PPV in either the US or UK so the correct answer is zero.

I wouldn't be so sure of that.

The promotion would be huge, they would build Matthew up so much he'd look like a ****ing beast.

Just look at what happened after the Pac and Floyd fights - the British media blamed the referee in the former and Floyd Sr in the latter case and even though it was clear Ricky was just outclassed many people were convinced. It would be the same in this case.

it is not possible to build matthew hatton up into a beast cos he never knocks any ****er out.

in a way i hope this fight gets made ppv just so i can laugh my bollocks off when it falls flat on his face.

floyd v matthew hatton is nothing short of a farce.

Is Floyd trying to emulate RJJ?

Well, from the half-assed sources that we are recieving this info from Mayweather would be willing to travel to Britain for this fight. So it might not even be a PPV, but if it was I would say Mayweather-Hatton would probably generate about 500K to 750K, just because of the British fans and some Americans like myself that would love to see a Gatti-Mayweather repeat.

the mainstream media would blast this fight and make a mockery of it. It would get no play on ESPN or any other legitimate sports networks, so only hardcore fans would have any interest in it.
