What! That don't sound like Estrada. This is a huge fight for him: Marquez, Segura, Viloria, Gonzalez. He's been fighting good names the last few years. Is he just chasing a rematch with Gonzalez? Wouldn't that be more interesting if he had Ioka on his CV? This sucks. I was looking forward to that fight.

You know, Estrada is more Inoue or Cuadras' size and should be more comfortable at that weight. He might have an advantage if him and Gonzalez rematch there.

Bummer, but I can't knock him if it's weight related and he's moving up.

    What?!?!??

That's crazy... I would pick Estrada to beat Ioka without too much trouble. Was looking forward to this fight!!! And t would be a GREAT scalp.

Does this mean he won't go near Inoue either?

Gonzalez has a mandatory due, so maybe a chance for Estrada to shake off some ring rust between now and a possible summer opening

Yeah but he just won the title not even a week ago and is considered by most to be the sports #1 p4p fighter. And this is the WBC after all lol. Do you really think they will force his mandatory and not let him get one voluntary in? He's in a new division so I think they will.

If he's moving up for the Gonzalez rematch I understand. I was looking forward to this fight. The inactivity won't do many favors.

Estrada looks pretty stupid now after he made fun of Canelo for vacating his WBC strap this year

Given the mandatory (Srisaket) has been waiting for over a year and has had his training mate (Nawaphon) also wait for the mess I don't think Nakornluang will wait any longer.
