Estrada vacates rather than fights Ioka

Estrada's given up the WBO title as well, moving to 115lbs... 112lbs has just been blown open with the WBO and WBC titles becoming vacant (when Roman officially drops his), and 115lbs may have just become the hottest division in the sport!

 

Well we all know he's going to move up in hopes of securing a rematch with Gonzalez. The only problem is they both want 7 figures to make it happen, so that fight doesn't look likely anytime soon.

He's been chasing chocalito for a long time

 

Maybe Estrada after seeing Romans last fight thinks he will be better suited fighting the rematch at the higher weight.

Roman has a tall order at 115. If he comes out on top of the Monster Inoue, a Estrada rematch, a Cuadras rematch, and maybe a destruction of the family lineage against Takuma (i like these kind of fights) at a weight he seems less effective at that would be something.

Unfortunately I really see Cuadras making the adjustments in the rematch and handing Roman his first loss maybe even his first stoppage. Cuadras really has the tools to take this division by the horns and the only guy I see beating the monster right now.

It really is shaping up to be an exciting division for sure.

Watch Roman avoid that Cuadras rematch though... I would be so pissed.
