I didn't pick him outright but after looking at some footage of him predicted that he'd make it competitive for Cañizales at least. Despite having very little prior well-known opposition, El Gladiador de Nezahualcóyotl definitely shouldn't have been as wide as 8/1 given the rust on CCC alone, never mind that he obviously posed challenges both stylistically and with his physical attributes. Laziness by the bookmakers there, not doing their due diligence and just going off BoxRec.
