    Round 4

Good combos by Morales but followed up by a good uppercut by Franco as Morales was coming in for another barrage. Morales going to the body really well. Franco becoming more active to end the round as he tries to throw some solid shots as Morales is on the ropes. Morales gets off and lands a good uppercut to end the round.

    10-9 Morales

    38-38

Expected Franco to be slicker and sharper than this.

    Round 5

Good overhand right by Franco as Morales was backing away. Good overhand left hook by Morales. Morales trying to counter Franco as he comes in, trying to maintain his distance more this round. Good right hand by Morales. Morales more aggressive to end the round, as Franco counters him to the body. Good combo followed by a clinch by Franco to end the round.

    10-9 Franco

    48-47 Franco

    Round 6

Good left hook off a lazy Morales jab by Franco. Good fluid combo by Morales. Great left hook by Franco as Morales came in. Good uppercut to the chin by Morales. Shoeshine body shots by Franco with some combos to the head to end the round. Slow round, but Franco's activity at the end stole it for me.

    10-9 Franco

    58-56 Franco

Nah, he was always more a 'look the part' guy (in that he exemplifies the liquidity of the Cuban style of movement) but he was never truly among the slickest or most technically proficient from his country.

Dougie Fischer's unofficial scorecard (as the commentator and scorer for Ring TV Live) has a shutout for Morales.

I see. I only watched one round of his, of his fight vs Fortuna and he looked better in it than what I've seen so far.

Props to Morales though, fighting smart. Think he has potential.

    Round 7

Good right hand by Franco as Morales comes in. Nice uppercut to the chin by Morales as Franco was covering up. Both guys missing a lot in the middle stages of this round. Morales' activity wins the round on my card.

    10-9 Morales

    67-66 Franco

Fortuna's a sloppy shit sandwich. All athleticism, no finesse or applied craft whatsoever. Anybody (except Paul Hyland :!:) will look comparatively smooth in the ring next to him.
