Lopez is going after Valcarcel guns blazing trying to take him out, Valcarcel holds, pace slows down again, Lopez leaps in landing a wide uppercut to Valcarcel's ribs,, Lopez leaves himself way too open, Lopez hurts Valcarcel with a hook pins him on the ropes for about 20 seconds flurrying on him, things settle down right before the bell.

Round 5

First minute is a back and forth dogfight between the two with Lopez landing the better shots, Valcarcel throwing looping shots on the inside Lopez slipping most of them and tagging him with counter uppercuts, Valcarcel looking gassed, Lopez walking in hands down teeing off on Carlos nails him with a nasty right hook in the gut.

Round 6

Valcarcel visibly weak Lopez having his way with him, gets him along the ropes and wallops him with uppercuts and hooks to the ribs, action moves back to the center of the ring with Lopez ripping uppercuts to Valcarcel's stomach Lopez pins him on the ropes opens up Valcarcel slips away.

Round 7

Lopez looking a tad bit gassed himself, he slaps Carlos with some thudding shots Valcarcel holds, , lopez goes to work on his body with hooks varying it up with uppercuts up top, he hurts Valcarcel backs him to the ropes, Valcarcel looks completely spent, ready to go at any minute.

The fight waved off in the corner evidently Valcarcel's corner pulled him out.

Lopez wins by TKO.:deal

 

I've seen him one or two other times, I've yet to be impressed. Add to that he got rocked by Valcarcel early in the match and his complete lack of defense while coming in, he's a KO waiting to happen.
