Have you seen Kugan's interviews? Can hardly blame him The Boxnation affiliation might have put him off too.. but whatever go ask him, who cares really
I think Kugan is great but sometimes his lack of adaptability - to the type of person he is interviewing - can result in almost immediate friction. I remember their first(and only?) interview and straight away you could sense Eubank was defensive with the intonation and line of questioning.
Agreed. Eubank Jr isn't the type to warm to cheeky, mate, mate, mate Es*** bant. Nothing wrong with that. Admirable really :good
To be fair to iFL they get on well with all of the domestic promoters so I doubt that's Eubank's reason. I get the feeling unlike his father he doesn't particulary enjoy the media commitments. Was Eubank Sr at the presser at all yesterday?
That, and the fact that when he has interviewed a fighter too many times he becomes too pally and the 'interview' is the furthest thing from being an interview that you could find. Basically banter with your mate in front of a camera.
He's the UK equivalent of Ellie Seckbach, ie bloody irritating (he sounds so utterly thick!), and with a truly ABYSMAL IFL/MGM video intro (I have to mute it or skip forward every time ffs), BUT...these amateurs still beat the mainstream media anyday if you ask me.
