I was actually interested in seeing the fight to see whether my gut feeling that Benn was going to knock CEJ out was correct or not

But I hope it doesn't get made now after seeing the size of that poop eating grin on E-Hearn's face after Haney beat Rougarou. He tried to make out he had no dog in the race in that one but he's been brown nosing that female dog weight bully ho Haney like crazy for ages and paying him way more than he deserved because he's desperate for him to become the ''new Floyd'' so he can break America.

It makes me wanna puke. It really does, guys. Slimeball. Scuzzbucket. Creep

The problem seems to lie with Eubank, not Benn. From Hearn:

“In terms of a delay, perhaps this fight can happen in the future, but Conor Benn is fighting end of January, early February,” he said. “We’re not waiting around. He’s in camp, ready to go, he’s fighting. It’s going to be a proper fight. If he wins the fight, maybe at the end of the summer or whatever we can look at the Eubank fight, I don’t know."

My gut tells me that a Connor Benn-Tim Tszyu fight @ 154 lbs will happen in the next 12 months.

Conor Benn might yet fight end of January / early February but if that fight was to be in the UK it won't be under the BBBofC banner and that will limit his list of potential opponents. I suspect someone like Kell Brook, who is already retired and unlikely to be that concerned about what the BBBofC think of him, will probably get a phone call from Hearn.

As for Benn-Tszyu, Tszyu plans to go up to 160. But before he does he aims to unify at 154 and that doesn't place Benn anywhere on his radar.

Good, Connor Benn can keep eating his special eggs away from the ring.

Hearn will likely have already been on the phone with Brook. I suspect Brook was always their reluctant plan B, if the Eubank fight didn't get made.

Hearn was desperate to get Eubank because it was the only fight that might have made him some money. Glad to hear it has fallen over. The cheats didn't prosper.
