Examples for me would include Usyk v Fury, Mayweather v Pacman, and Canelo v GGG.

    Why not AJ Usyk?

When saying which fights you think are worthy of PPV you have to remember that these days we've been conned into thinking we have to pay top price for everything.

Not got time to look at history and gave examples.

Your 2 examples fit the bill as well.

Never underestimate the ego though. Bowing out with a loss to Canelo would be no disgrace (like Bellew with Usyk tbh) - and at that level, a couple of million either way might not fix the ego trip.

Alternatively, he could lose to Benn given the odds will likely be stacked against him again - and then Matchroom run off into the sunset saying they were the best all along etc etc. I'm not sure Eubank (Jr and Sr) could live with that.

Wouldn't be many left if that was the case for everyone.

Do you think it would be safe with no rehydration clause ?

    I know, what a twat.
Gutted that none of the crowd thought to bring a few free range eggs and chucked them at the cheating rat on his ring walk.

Canelo won't end well for Chris, he will get beaten up badly. Embarrassing fight for Canelo if it gets made.

Jordan was gobbing off about Benns drug test on the radio but when he interviewed Nigel on his podcast he completely shat it.

Unsure tbh. When was the last time Canelo stopped anyone? He’s gone to points with Munguia, Berlanga, Ryder, Charlo etc in the last 2 years.

Eubank would likely get beat but it wouldn’t be a brutal stoppage or absolute battering IMO.

Yes Canelo has turned into Joey 12 recently but I think CEJ would end up in the same state when he first fought Beefy.

Punch resistance would be badly exposed and Canelo would clean him out.

Not stopped them but has put them all down and given them a reasonable beating. These were all fighters near or just past their prime and also going the distance against canelo is a mini victory in itself. Junior at 36 who doesn't have the best defense and is visibly slowing down wouldn't fair well IMO. It's not a great look for Canelo either who's resume is always under fire from the Mexican fight fans.
