Yet it's within BBC.co.uk Yet it's within Joe Calzaghe's biography. Yet it's within various other websites and forums that Calzaghe was an underdog What next? You argue that Lacy was in fact an underdog? You're a history revisionist. Basically because YDKSAB.
Joe Calzaghe in 1997 was a heavy favourite against Chris Eubank according to all UK-based bookmakers. In 2012, I have no idea if he was favourite or underdog when he fought Eubank, according to whatever desktop warrior of today. But in 1997, according to the bookmakers of the day, I lived it and he was favourite. And no, it's not in Calzaghe's biography. 'The Lacy fight was the first time I was underdog in a fight.' - Calzaghe, '12, Sky Sports 'Those were the days' docu
Your "reference" wasn't even a link. You're full of ****. At this point I've given you seven different sources you can reasonably go away and find. You have given me one, a Youtube clip that had a vague statement in it. You're also trying to create an injury for Eubank that somehow didn't stop him from training for the LHW fight he was about to have that was not a money fight and would have no need for him not to postpone. Let's face it, you're a history revisionist and someone who thinks that "Sky Sports, 2012.. " is a reference link.
Would I really be that pathetic to put in the effort to source links on this forum to somebody like you, when we both know that you post nothing but untruths plucked from the air... seriously, seek help dude.
You're full of ****, not even worth my ****ing time. You've not linked a single solitary source for your information, go **** yourself.
Eubank was getting £400,000 for the Mark Prince fight for the WBO Intercontinental title and it was money he could've done with at the time! Prince was no Calzaghe. He was an easy, straight forward win. Eubank always liked to circle counter-clockwise against a southpaw and use a lot of rear foot moves to keep his left foot outside the southpaws right while changing angles and weight distributions in order to get off different shots. It was his right knee that he had trouble with.....
Keep on trucking with your bull****, again you pull a figure out of your ass around what Eubank would have got for a fight with Prince, without any reference. Not worth my ****ing time. You're so wrong it's almost funny that you try to throw that **** on me.
According to Andy Ayling, my friend who worked for Frank ******'s Sports Network, and a mutual friend of Eubank's and mine who will remain nameless. Eubank got £400,000 a fight for ****** (Collins II, Calzaghe, Thompson, I, Thompson II).
