Eubank was no master, and he had ring intelligence issues at times, though he was a very tricky, slippery customer at his best, with power and very good punching technique. Both are fighters capable of giving most others difficult fights, but Calzaghe is a higher level of fighter IMO, and I'd favor him handily. Probably just as well as he beat Eubank in their actual matchup as a matter of fact, as that was one of Eubank's best performances, and Joe was pre-prime in terms of experience and ring craftsmanship.
Remember we a re talking prime Eubank here. I am going with Eubank by KTFO because of his killer instinct pre Watson and his powerful right hand and superior skills.
Well no chance is he knocking Eubank out for starters but Eubank couldn't KO Joe either. Workrate would be the key issue for me. Calzaghe would outwork Eubank all night, land the more punches and quite simply outbox him similarly like Watson did. Calzaghe 117-111. How could Eubank win this clearly?
I shall remind you we are talking about a PRIME Eubank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and in that case how does Joe clearly beat Eubank:yep
Its not a matter of that Pea...Its a matter of how good both were in their respective primes! In a prime matchup Joe gets his ass handed to him...****ing guy beats the **** out of Nigel Benn and you act like he gets owned by Mr Beanatsch
