So it carries on, and has been for decades, the faux hatred, the obscene remarks, the calculated surreptitious building up the gate, the millionaires coaxing hard earned money from the masses, it's so fake, so insulting, so boring, this type of mockery makes me wonder why I like boxing, what with the advent of misfits boxing,youtubers, and old, very old ex champs fighting, brings our beloved sport into disrepute, it's becoming a circus, what with judges who don't know their arse from their elbow, fighters who weigh 15 to 20 lbs above the title they are supposed to be fighting for, heavyweights who fight twice a year, sorry guys but I lament for the good old days, stay safe fellow posters, chat soon.
Such a forced fight and rivalry these days. Living off their father's names and shadows, boxing needs new rivalries - not recycle rivalries that ended over 30 years ago. Especially as they are at rather different weights. Will still watch though as it is on my birthday so why not, I think it will be a good fight whilst it lasts.
